2014 Dan Sapp and Mike Reynolds

PACE ELITE HISTORY

  • Started coaching in 1986.
  • Won their first national title in 1987.
  • They have coached and choreographed over 500 national championship titles.
  • Opened up PACE ELITE in 1994.
  • Both Mike and Dan have coached Orange Coast College Cheer and Dance for the past 20 years.
  • OCC has earned a record of over 50 national championship titles, alone, with one World title representing the USA in 2012.
  • OCC is the only Community College to win a Division 1A category national title in the history of dance.
  • Pace Elite has won 21 World Championship titles since 2007 and 14 of them representing Dance Xtreme USA (DX).
  • Dan's teams have represented Team USA three times in the International World Championship, winning all three divisions.
  • Dan continues to work with national and world championship teams across the United States, including, the 2014 Collegiate Dance Champions, the University of Minnesota Pom Squad.
  • Both Mike and Dan have been inducted into the UPA Hall of Fame and won the UPA National Coach of the Year honors for DX.
  • Dan was recognized by the United States All Star Federation (USASF) as the 2012 Dance World Coach of the Year.
  • Dan Sapp was also recognized by the USASF in 2013 as the inaugural Dance Hall of Fame inductee.
