Grab your friends and create something unforgettable! The Duo/Trio Challenge is your chance to choreograph and perform a routine live on stage — just you and your teammates.

What’s Included

  • Open to all age categories

  • All participants receive participation medals

  • Top 3 in each division receive individual trophies

Announcement

  • Champions will be announced during our Awards Gala Saturday evening.

  • Winning performances will be featured on stage during the Gala - in front of the full DX audience!

Rules & Requirements

  • This fun and creative event gives dancers the chance to choreograph and perform in small groups of two or three.

  • NEW - Maximum performance length: 2 minutes

  • Timing begins with the first beat of the music and ends with the last beat.

  • Open to duos and trios only (2–3 dancers per routine)

  • Dancers may enter multiple DTC routines — no entry limit

  • Age division is based on the oldest dancer in the group

  • Costuming must be age appropriate and suitable for family viewing

  • Team costumes are allowed

  • Inappropriate costuming will result in violation points and possible disqualification
