Director / Teacher Briefing Zoom Call

  • One representative should attend one of the calls.

  • Details will be sent closer the call.

  • Two options: 10 AM or 7 PM (CST)

FEBRUARY 5, 2027

Solo Competition

  • All American (AA) and Performer of the Year (POY) candidates compete their solos

  • Solo time limit = 1:30 max / no minimum

  • NEW - Solo awards will be scheduled throughout the day on Friday

  • Follow the live schedule with the DanceBUG app

NEW - Improv Contest

  • Dancers register on-site.

  • The top 3 announced in each division.

Master Classes

  • Class offerings posted closer to the event.

  • Free for all registered dancers & coaches

  • Closed to the public & parents/fans.

All American Interviews

  • A two-minute interview will be scheduled for all candidates.

  • Wear dance costume or professional business attire.

Purple Party

  • We’re kicking off DX Nationals with our signature Purple Party on Friday night!

  • Come dressed in your best purple gear and get ready to dance the night away.

  • Parents and fans are welcome to join the fun, too!

X-FACTOR Invite Only Event

  • DX Events, in partnership with Rebel Athletic Dance

Saturday

FEBRUARY 6, 2027

Team Competition & Awards

  • A specific schedule will be posted

  • Champion rings awarded immediately after award ceremonies

Duo/Trio Challenge (DTC)

  • Dancers may participate in as many DTC routines as they desire

  • Winners perform during the Gala

Graduating Senior Rehearsal

  • High School and Collegiate seniors may participate

  • Dancers must be registered ahead of time and provide black booty shorts for performance

  • Mandatory attendance required at rehearsals

  • A nominal fee of $15 for T-shirt will be applied to team account

  • Dancers perform Sunday at the last awards session

Paparazzi Photo Opt

  • Spend time on the 3rd floor in the foyer and take advantage of our fabulous photo opts

  • Dress to impress. Prom dresses encouraged.

Awards Gala

  • This semi-formal event recognizes outstanding individual successes

  • All American Champions & Category Winners

  • Dance Team Challenge (DTC)

  • Distinguished Leaders

  • Outstanding Staff

  • National Coach of the Year

  • Hall of Fame Inductees

Sunday

FEBRUARY 7, 2027

Senior Solo Dance-off

  • Top 10 Senior Solos (15-18 yr) perform again

  • Awards immediately following

Team Competition & Awards

  • A specific schedule will be posted

  • Champion rings awarded immediately after award ceremonies

Graduating Senior Performance

  • Celebrating seniors one last time on the DX stage

USASF Worlds Bids

  • 4 PP and 8 AL bids up for grabs

  • Who will represent DX at Dance Worlds this year?

Rebel Costume Announcement

  • The top 5 highest scoring programs will be awarded Rebel prize money

Grand Champions

  • The highest scoring routine in each age category will be recognized at the DX Grand Champions
