XTREME TITLE Talent & Scholastics Scholarship Program
(formerly All American)
The DX NATIONAL XTREME TITLE TALENT & SCHOLASTIC COMPETITION is designed to recognize individuals who encompass the whole package. Those with the highest combined score based on their scholastic [transcript closest to the date of the event with GPA highlighted], athleticism [must compete a solo at nationals], accomplishments [resume outlining school, dance and community service], personality [interview on site], expression [essay], and support letter of recommendation from a director, dance teacher or school teacher – one required but may submit more] will receive the DX NATIONAL XTREME TITLE prize package and scholarship. It is the highest individual honor at DX events. Category winners will also be recognized. Materials will not be returned.

2024 ENTRY FEE - $75 per dancer and includes Xtreme Title entry fee. Xtreme Title entries must also compete a solo routine.
DEADLINE EXTENDED - Paperwork must be postmarked by May 27th.
CATEGORY WINNERS - The highest score from each JUDGING CATEGORY will be recognized and receive an award for this accomplishment. The candidate with the highest total score from all categories will be crowned the Xtreme Title Champion. All announcements take place at the Awards Program.

All Candidates receive medals for participating
When there is only one entry in an age category, then the Overall and Talent Champion will be announced. Nothing else. No scholarships will be given.
OVERALL HIGH POINT RECIPIENT: Trophy, Scholarship, NEW - Rebel Dream Suitcase (valued at $180 - pictured), and Xtreme Title Champion gear. The top 3 will be announced. Second and third place candidates will receive trophies.
7+ entries- $125 scholarship
2-6 entries - $50 scholarship
TALENT CHAMPION: Trophy, Scholarship, and Rebel Dream Backpack* (valued at $120). The top 3 will be announced. Second and third place candidates will receive trophies.

Candidates are required to:

RESUME: Submit a resume outlining school, dance, and community service - worth 12% of score
TRANSCRIPT or DRAWING: Junior, Teen & Senior divisions turn in an actual transcript with grades. Mini, Petite & Junior candidates without a true transcript may turn in a DX drawing to fulfill this point requirement. Draw a picture sharing something about DX and you!
RECOMMENDATION: Submit a letter of recommendation from director, dance teacher, or school teacher - one required/may submit more - worth 1% of score
ESSAY: Submit a 1,000 word [or less] essay on “WHAT DO YOU EXPECT TO GET OUT OF THIS COMPETITION?” - worth 12% of score
SOLO: Perform a solo routine - worth 25% of score
INTERVIEW: Participate in a private, two-minute interview, on site, with DX judges - wear dance costume or interview attire - worth 25% of score
COVER SHEET - Fill out and attach the DX Xtreme Title Cover Sheet to the top of your paperwork (links above)
REGISTER FOR TITLE - Have your studio director enter your solo and select “title - Xtreme Title” from the dropdown menu.
Champions will be announced during the Awards Gala on Thursday night.
